How We Work

Highlights Healthcare specializes in serving learners and families with Medicaid benefits.

We work with each family individually and help with every aspect of what they need such as: Assessments, Evaluations, ABA therapy plans, understanding your insurance plans, and any other area of concern you may have. We also help families find other services for their children and help them understand and navigate your insurance plans, deductibles, co-payments, reimbursement programs, potential grants, and other community resources that may be available to them. It is all very confusing, but we are here to help you figure it all out together.

We are one of the leading ABA therapy programs in North Carolina and South Carolina. We specialize in serving children with Autism and related disorders! We service the Piedmont and Western half of North Carolina while also serving the Upstate South Carolina area. No matter where you are in North Carolina or South Carolina, give us a call we can help.

Our focus is to provide the best intervention possible to every family we serve. Our team works tirelessly with each family individually and help with every aspect of navigating their loved one’s diagnosis of autism. This includes; a comprehensive assessment that includes collaboration with the family as well as other professionals that may be involved; an individualized treatment plan that best suits each learners unique needs; ongoing coaching and support for caregivers and family members empowering them to apply strategies and interventions across environments; guidance in identifying additional services that may be needed, support in understanding insurance plans (deductibles, co-pays, secondary insurance), and identifying potential grants or other community resources that may be available. We know it is all very overwhelming and confusing, but we are here to help you figure it all out together.

Highlights Healthcare is especially effective at evaluating children and planning ABA therapies that will target their specific, individual challenges. Every child is different and special in their own way, and so our therapy plans are developed for their individual needs.

The expertise level of our BCBA’s, BCaBA’s, and RBT’s is specialized and focused. We are the best at what we do, and our commitment to inspire and make a difference is second to none.
